At least the Phillies didn't trade away a guy to save his $5 million salary, and because the manager didn't like the guy, only to fire said manager just before the guy wins NLCS MVP and drives in the World Series winning run.
Good for Hunter Pence, even if I am bummed at the Giants somehow pulling off 2 championships in 3 years when the Phils only managed 1--and are now clearly (IMO) in their decline phase.
Hopefully he'll remain gracious and not turn into another Jayson Werth.

I think Pence has more class than Werth. He at least came across as a genuinely nice guy during his short stint in Philly.
