Non-roster invitees re-assigned to minor league camp - pitchers Brian Bass, Eddie Bonine, Drew Carpenter, Ryan Feierabend, Michael Schwimer, catcher Joel Naughton, infielders Tagg Bozied and Robb Quinlan and outfielder Matt Miller. Quinlan requested and was granted his release following his demotion.
40-man roster players optioned to minor league camp - pitchers Justin DeFratus, Drew Naylor, J.C. Ramirez, infielders Harold Garcia, Cesar Hernandez and Carlos Rivero and first baseman Matt Rizzotti.
The Phils have 11 non-roster invitees remaining in camp, and 33 players on the active roster. 44 remain, but only 25 will go North with the team in April.
