Close, but no fancy Home Run Derby trophy this year. Ryan Howard just missed making the final round of the 2009 derby, hitting a cumulative total of 15 home runs in the first two rounds. The Rangers' Nelson Cruz and the Brewers' Prince Fielder, with 16 and 17 home runs respectively, advanced to the final round, with Fielder ultimately taking this year's title.Enough with the appetizer, I'm ready for the main course. The All-Star Game is tomorrow and according to Larry Andersen, this time it apparently counts.
