Jamie Moyer goes for career win 251 tonight against the Dodgers and former Phillie Eric Milton.The Phillies traded Nick Punto, Carlos Silva and Bobby Korecky to the Twins on December 3, 2003, for Eric Milton. (Punto was a personal favorite of mine at the time, and I'm glad he's put together a nice little career with Minnesota). In 2004, Eric led the Phils in wins (14), starts (34) and strikeouts (161), going 14-6 with a 4.75 ERA.
Eric left via free agency following the '04 season, signing a 3-year deal with the Reds. He was injured all of 2008 and came to Spring Training in 2009 with the Dodgers as a non-roster invitee. So far this year, Eric is 2-0 (in 3 starts) with a 3.14 ERA.
