Canadian Glen Gorbous played with the Phillies from 1955 to 1957. Glen was part of a big trade with the Reds in April 1955 that saw Jim Greengrass and Andy Seminick come to the Phils and Smoky Burgess, Stan Palys and Steve Ridzik head to the Reds. He played 91 games for the Phillies in 1955, but played only 18 games combined in 1956 and 1957.In July 1988, we bought this card from a long gone baseball card store in Williamstown, NJ for $4. Perhaps we stopped there before heading to TemDee?
